Audubon never trailed as they won for the 5th time in their last 6 games and snapped IKM-Manning two game win streak. The Wheelers extended the lead to 14 late in the 1st half as IKM-Manning had a tough night shooting the ball. The Wolves were 13-54 from the field, 3-18 from three point range and only 2-11 from the free throw line. They had good looks inside but couldn’t buy a basket. Wolves Head Coach Gene Rasmussen credited the Wheeler defense on their effort.

Their pressure created a turnover immediately but they only cut the lead to 11 by half. Jaci Christensen took charge inside while Hermansen won on the bench. Christensen tied the school record for rebounds in a game with 19.
Audubon took control again in the 3rd and were up 43-22 before the Wolves pressure picked up the final few minutes and they pulled within 13 at 44-31 but that was as close as they could get.
