An Alta woman was arrested twice in Carroll over the weekend. The Carroll Police Department responded to a trespassing report at approximately 11:46 p.m. Friday night in the 200 block of E 10th Street. At that time, 42-year-old Kristal Lynn Miller, formerly of Carroll, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and second-degree burglary. The second call came in the next day, at approximately 12:58 p.m. and officers responded to the 200 block of E 9th Street. Miller was again arrested and charged with violating a protection order. She was booked into the Carroll County jail and later released on her own recognizance. Miller had been arrested earlier this year and charged with assaulting a police officer. In June, officers responded to a domestic disturbance dispute and while being taken into custody, Miller kicked the arresting officer. She was originally charged with two counts of assault, but entered into a plea agreement this past September and agreed to plead guilty to one count of assault on a peace officer in exchange for the other charge being dropped.
