Only Two Of Seven Regional Counties Are Now Reporting COVID Two-Week Positivity Rates Over 10 Percent

Only two of the seven counties in the Carroll Broadcasting listening area are now reporting two-week positivity rates over 10 percent. As of 8 a.m. this (Monday) morning, Crawford County is recording the highest rate, seventh in the state, at 16.9 percent. They have 280 active cases with 2,350 positives, 2,070 recovered and 24 deaths. Carroll County is the second coming in at over 10 percent with an 11.4 percent rate and 285 active cases from the 2,584 positives, 2,299 recovered and 34 deaths. Calhoun County comes in with the lowest rate in the region, fifth lowest in the state at 6.4 percent with 71 active cases, 1,234 positives to date with 1,163 recovered and nine deaths. For the remainder of the region: Audubon County is at 7.2 percent with 60 active cases, 422 positives, 362 recovered and eight deaths; Greene County is at 8.9 percent with 60 active cases, 697 positives, 637 recovered and seven deaths; Guthrie reports a 9.1 percent rate, 124 active cases, 1,046 positives, 922 recovered and 24 deaths; and Sac County is at nine percent with 104 active cases, 1,122 total positives, 1,018 recovered and 15 deaths.
