Audubon had 3 guys in double figures but struggled on offense as they fall to 6-10 overall and 4-9 in the Western Iowa Conference. The Wheelers competed hard but fell on the road to one of the top teams in the conference. The loss drops the Wheelers to 5-5 in their last 10 games. They trailed by 11 at the end of the 1st quarter and were down 12 at half. The game started to slip away in the 3rd as they gave up 30 points coming out of the break.
Ethan Klocke led the way offensively with 12 points, Gavin Smith added 11 points and Joel Klocke had 10 points in the loss.
Audubon travels to LoMa on Friday.
