In a show of support for the front-line healthcare workers at St. Anthony Regional Hospital, nursing home and clinic, Dupaco Community Credit Union Carroll Branch Manager, Kathy Steffes, and employee, Michelle Steffes, presented a donation of $500. The entire Dupaco staff has dubbed these workers “Heroes.” “The pandemic’s ongoing effects continue to be felt by everyone in our community, especially our dedicated healthcare professionals,” says Vice President of Dupaco’s Community Outreach and Education, Deb Schroeder. “We appreciate your unwavering dedication and service, now and in the near future, as the world endeavors toward a successful vaccination.” The money is to be earmarked for employee support and morale. “We will ask our managers to find ways to share Dupaco’s appreciation with staff that have gone above and beyond in their line of work,” says St. Anthony President and CEO, Ed Smith. “They may receive a gift card to a local business or the Auxiliary Coffee Shop, which will be just a small token of the overwhelming gratitude felt by everyone during this pandemic response.”
