Focus Is On Budgets For Monday’s Carroll County Board Of Supervisors Meeting

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will convene Monday for their regularly scheduled weekly meeting with most of their focus on budgetary items. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the courthouse meeting room, but will be closed to the public due to COVID-19 protocols. However, it will be livestreamed via the county’s YouTube channel, a link to which is included with this story on our website. The supervisors will begin the meeting with an update from County Engineer, Zac Andersen, regarding secondary roads followed by the quarterly report from the IT Department. The board will open a public hearing on a Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 budget amendment at 9:30 a.m. Those wishing to make comments during the hearing must create a YouTube account and subscribe to the county’s channel. The final items of business on the agenda are a FY22 appropriations resolution and a review of the Sheriff’s Office and Carroll County Conservation’s FY22 budgets. The board will close the meeting with reports from the supervisors on their respective committees. The full Feb. 1 agenda can be found included below.
