Carroll Police Chief, Brad Burke, issued a statement saying an 11-year-old juvenile has been taken into custody after a bomb threat at the Carroll Middle School on Friday afternoon. Authorities were called to the school around 12:21 p.m. No incendiary device was located. He says there is no threat at this time and the investigation is ongoing. The case will be transferred to the juvenile courts.
