The trial date for a Carroll woman charged following an October incident involving firearms at the Fairview Village Apartments has been rescheduled for April. Twenty-eight-year-old Glennisha Janancy Myers faces one count of assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor, after she and 30-year-old Kamille Garnett allegedly wielded pistols during a dispute in the 500 block of E. 18th Street on Oct. 5. Myers was originally scheduled for trial near the end of March, but a request for continuance was granted on the grounds the matter could be resolved without the need for a trial if provided more time. Myers also faces a separate simple misdemeanor assault charge for her involvement in a shooting that occurred at Fairview Oct. 14.
