Area roadways remain partially to completely covered this (Friday) morning, this time with icy and snow packed patches. There has been the report of one accident, occurring at approximately 5:20 a.m. this morning west of Auburn on U.S. Highway 71 and Highway 175 in Sac County. The driver was uninjured, but says they came upon an icy spot on a curve in the road, began to fishtail and then rolled several times in the ditch. Drivers are urged to use caution and allow extra time to get to their destination.
