Danner Named District Swimmer of the Year as Carroll Qualifies 5 Events for State

Carroll had a great day qualifying 3 individual events and two relays for the State Swim Meet. The team finished 5^th overall and had 22 time drops including a new school record in the 100 free for Trevor Danner. He broke his own record of 46.96 by swimming a 46.52. He claimed the district championship in the event and qualified for the State Meet. Danner also qualified in the 50 free taking 2^nd on the day in 21.17. Jonathan Dose was a state qualifier in the 200 free finishing 5tyh on Saturday. The 200 Free Relay and 400 Free Relay which both featured Sam Janssen, Zander Kenyon, Jonathan Dose and Trevor Danner qualified as well. The 200 Free Relay was 2^nd while the 400 Free Relay finished 3^rd Saturday. Dose enters the State Meet in seeded 32^nd in the 200 Free, Danner is 4^th in both the 50 Free and 100 Free, the 200 Free Relay is seeded 13^th and the 400 Free Relay is seeded 19^th.

Danner was also honored as an individual and was named District Swimmer of the Year.
