Carroll Boys Swim Team Has Good Day at State Saturday

Boys State Swimming Results Saturday, February 13^th

The Carroll Boys wrapped up a great season with 5 events at the State Swim meet on Saturday. Trevor Danner nearly make consideration for All American in the 50 Free as he finished 3^rd in 21.02. He time was .15 faster than his seeded and was just short of consideration for All-American which was set at 20.91. The senior capped off a tremendous career taking 8^th in the 100 Free in 47.07. The 200 Free and 400 Free Relays teams both consisted of Sam Janssen, Zander Kenyon, Jonathan Dose and Trevor Danner. They both finished 16^th overall. The 200 Free Relay was slightly slower than their seeded time at 1:313.02 while the 400 Free Relay was over 2 seconds faster finishing in 3:21.01. Dose who swum in both relays also had a good day in the 200 Free finishing 28^th in 1:50.15. He came into the day seeded 32^nd so moved up 4 spots. The Tigers finished 16^th as a team with 31 points.
