The recent spate of sub-zero temperatures has created high demand and challenges with delivery of propane. Iowa Gov., Kim Reynolds, has signed a proclamation that will ease restrictions on propane transportation. This proclamation temporarily suspends regulatory provisions of Iowa code 32.449 that pertain to hours of service for crews and drivers delivering propane, allowing for more time to get necessary fuel to those in need. The proclamation will remain in effect until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 15.
