John Mayhall and Dawson Edwards helped a spurt at the end of the 1^st quarter that proved to be huge as the game went on as Kuemper holds off Manson NW Webster to advance to Thursday game against 2^nd ranked OA-BCIG. Mayhall and Edwards each scored 5 points during a 12-4 run by Kuemper to open up a 10-8 lead late in the 1^st quarter. The Knights never trailed, but after leading by 12 at half saw the Cougars go on a tear in the 3^rd. The Kuemper lead was cut to 1 late in the 3^rd but they rebounded and stretched it to 4 heading into the 4^th quarter. Mitchell Badding was big offensively in the 1^st half and Mayhall and Dawson Gifford came alive in the 2^nd half.  The Knights pulled away again in the 4^th to win by double digits.

Michael Pottebaum nearly scored in double figures with 9 points, Chris Mohr added 6 rebounds off the bench. The Knights improve to 9-13 and will travel to OA-BCIG on Thursday on 1380 AM/95.1 FM KCIM. The Falcons had a bye in the opening round. The Wildcats trailed by 14 after the 1^st quarter and were down by 29 at half.  They had two players score in double figures and nearly had a third. Brigham Daniel had a team high 13 points, Karter Kennebeck added 10 points and John Whitver finished with 9 points. The Wildcats end the season at 4-17.
