Due to the inclement weather this past Sunday, Sac County Conservation made another change of date to the candle lit hike at Hagge Park near Sac City, originally slated for Sunday, Feb. 14. A sub-zero forecast on Valentine’s Day moved the hike out one week to this past Sunday, Feb. 21, but into another blast of wintry weather. The new date will have those wanting to take a romantic walk through about 500 tea lights heading to the park between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27. Those who are interested in reserving a fire pit and s’more fixings for $20 can do so by calling Sac County Conservation at 712-662-4530.
