Kuemper Administration Notifies Parents There Is No Plan To Use Remote Learning On Snow Days

The Kuemper Catholic School System administration issued a notice to all parents on Tuesday in regard to inclement weather and “virtual” snow days. They say that since the beginning of this school year, they have been dedicated to conducting face-to-face instruction and they remain committed to that learning model. At this time, Kuemper is not planning to implement any virtual learning when school is cancelled due to inclement weather. Instead, they will be making these days up at the conclusion of the school year. It is possible, however, that the school board and administration may reconsider remote learning days if there is an abundance of snow days yet this year. They are also advising parents there may be scheduling changes to the final week of school as “variables always remain between now and into the spring.” Those with questions can contact the central office at 792-3313.
