Kuemper’s Annual Town Hall Meeting Goes Virtual Thursday Evening

The Kuemper Catholic School System will be hosting their annual town hall meeting tomorrow (Thursday) night, but they will be shifting the event to a virtual format this year due to COVID-19. Information will be presented through Google Meet beginning at 6:30 p.m. President, John Steffes, and Father Patrick Behm will welcome participants before shifting into breakout sessions at 6:40 p.m. and 7:10 p.m. Attendees will chose two of the four topics to be presented. A panel of Kuemper teachers will discuss the trials and successes of education during a pandemic and opportunities for growth. The second session focuses on Kuemper’s long range-plan, the latest on Education Savings Accounts and school choice and information on how the school year is going during COVID. The final two topics cover common social and emotional needs for students and an explanation of the academic planning process from the Kuemper Counseling Department. Each session concludes with a Q&A with presenters. The town hall is scheduled to wrap up around 7:45 p.m. with a brief survey from participants on their experience during the event. More information on Thursday’s town hall and details on how to attend remotely can be found included below.
