A Windsor Heights woman was mechanically extricated from her vehicle following an accident in Guthrie County Thursday morning. The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on 190th Street at approximately 10:19 a.m. Upon arrival, they found 62-year-old Kristie Lynn Sheeder had lost control of the 2008 Ford Edge at a curve as she was traveling northbound on 190th. The Sheeder vehicle entered the north ditch and struck a pole, causing the Edge to overturn. Sheeder was transported for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries to the Greene County Medical Center by her sister. There was an estimated $8,000 in damage to the Edge and $2,500 in damage to the utility pole.
