An investigation has been opened into the unattended death of an 11-year-old male in Carroll. Police Chief, Brad Burke, says they were notified of the death in the 500 block of E. 1st Street at approximately 2:37 p.m. Sunday afternoon. The child was brought to St. Anthony Regional Hospital by personal vehicle and was later pronounced dead. Burke says there was no apparent trauma and an autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of death.
