A Manning man was arrested Saturday after law enforcement determined he was illegally carrying a firearm during a traffic stop. According to Carroll County District Court records, 38-year-old Joseph Michael Bainbridge was taken into custody on the aggravated misdemeanor charge by the Manning Police Department at approximately 5:40 p.m. near the intersection of Ann and Julia Streets in Manning. An officer witnessed Bainbridge, whose driver’s license is suspended, operating a 1998 Chevrolet C15 and initiated a traffic stop.
