A second felony charge has been filed in Carroll County District Court against an Arcadia man accused of striking two juveniles last month. According to trial information filed Thursday, 34-year-old Michael Curtis Anderson now faces two counts of child endangerment causing bodily injury, a class D felony. He was arrested by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office on Feb. 23 after law enforcement was called to his residence. Authorities say Anderson was intoxicated and refused to cooperate with law enforcement. An affidavit alleges he slapped one juvenile and grabbed them by the neck and punched and headbutted another minor. Anderson’s arraignment hearing has been set for Thursday, March 25. Each count carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and $7,500 in fines.
