The Carroll Police Department reports functional damage to two vehicles in another rear-end collision Wednesday in Carroll. They responded to the 600 block of W. U.S. Highway 30 at approximately 11:30 a.m. Forty-five-year-old Jason Wittrock of Carroll was westbound on 30 in a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado and had stopped for a red light. Behind him, also westbound, was 18-year-old Brianna Lux of Arcadia in a 2014 Ford Focus. Lux failed to stop in time to avoid a collision and struck the Wittrock truck. No injuries were reported and Lux was cited for failure to maintain control.
