Gov. Kim Reynolds announced this (Thursday) afternoon the appointment of Marshall County Attorney, Jennifer Miller, as a district court judge in Judicial Election District 2B. District 2B encompasses 13 counties in west-central Iowa, including Calhoun, Carroll, Greene and Sac Counties. Prior to becoming Marshall County Attorney, Miller served in the Marshalltown Office of the State Public Defender and as an assistant county attorney. She received her undergraduate degree from Augustana College in Illinois before earning her law degree from Drake University. Miller is filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Second Judicial District Chief Judge, Kurt Wilke.
