An Arcadia man was taken into custody early Saturday morning after leading Carroll Police on a foot chase. Officers were checking on a person who was in Northwest Park after posted hours, at approximately 4:38 a.m., when the subject, 39-year-old Chad Alvin Prichard, fled. Prichard was apprehended near 15th and Harriet Avenue a short time later and arrested on a Greene County warrant. During his arrest, a substance believed to be methamphetamine was located. Further charges are pending results from the Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) laboratory.
