A Carroll man was arrested after the report of a vehicle theft. The Carroll Police Department was notified of the theft from the 1800 block of North Randall Road at approximately 10:12 p.m. Sunday night. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 32-year-old Brandon Dennis Blunk (who has also reported a Breda address) on a charge of operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent. Blunk was booked into the Carroll County jail and later released. Blunk was the subject of an 18-month investigation by the Sac County Sheriff’s Office and was arrested by them in mid-February on three counts of delivery of a schedule II controlled substance, class C felonies, and three counts of prohibited acts, prescription drug violations, serious misdemeanors as well as probation violations. It is alleged by the Sac County Sheriff’s Office that Blunk had delivered schedule II prescription drugs to a confidential police source in 2019.
