Inez Kasperbauer of Carroll

Inez Claire Kasperbauer, age 89, of Carroll, IA, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Manning Senior Living in Manning, IA.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, March 22, 2021 at St. John Paul II Parish – Holy Spirit Church in Carroll with Fr. Kevin Richter as Celebrant.  Casket bearers will be Inez’s grandchildren.  Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll after 5:00 P.M. on Sunday where there will be a Christian Wake Service held at 6:30 P.M.  The casket will be moved to Holy Spirit Church at 9:30 A.M. on Monday where visitation will resume until 10:15 A.M.

Those in attendance at Inez’s visitation and Mass are asked to abide by Covid-19 guidelines and facemasks are required at the funeral home and the church.

Inez was born on December 12, 1931 in Carroll, IA, and she was the daughter of John and Geneva (Wieland) Kanne.  She grew up in Carroll, attended St. Lawrence grade school and graduated from Carroll High School in 1950.  Inez was married to Edwin “Jack” Kasperbauer on October 2, 1950. Inez was a homemaker until 1986 when she went to work for Dr. Paulus in Carroll.  She also worked for Dr. Tim Kump at the Family Health Center.  Inez worked for Dr. Eric Jensen until she was 77 years old.  Inez enjoyed playing cards and Rummikube with her friends.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Inez is survived by her children and their families: son John Kasperbauer (Caren) of Seattle, WA, son Allyn Kasperbauer of Oregon, son Rick Kasperbauer of Naples, FL, daughter Joni Brincks (Gene) of Willey, and son Ed Kasperbauer of Des Moines; daughter-in-law Kathie Kasperbauer of Okoboji; thirteen grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren; her sister Marie Wernimont of Carroll; brother-in-law Lyle Schleisman of Carroll; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Inez was preceded in death her parents John and Geneva Kanne; her father and mother-in-law Rose and Otto Kasperbauer; her husband Jack in 1986; son Dennis Kasperbauer; granddaughter Amy Jo Brincks; grandson Joseph Kasperbauer; three brothers: Earl, Roy, and Robert Kanne; a sister Lillian Schleisman; and in-laws: Andy Kasperbauer, Lucille Lasher, Betty Bluml, Annie Kasperbauer, Loretta Venteicher, and Rosie Sondgeroth.
