The Sac County Conservation Board has set a tentative schedule for Sac County Conservation Foundation-sponsored summer camps and public programs for this summer. COVID-19 protocols will remain in place and they will be adjusting some timing as well as group sizes for programming. Registration will open on Thursday, March 22 through google form, a link to which will be posted on their website and Facebook page. All camps and programs are subject to change. Sac County Naturalist, Kristen Bieret, says some of the highlights planned for this year include a free family program called Outdoor Adventures. Families will be able to sign up for an hour time frame to try out kayaks, canoes and other water activities. Another free opportunity planned for this summer is Amphitheater Antidotes. This evening event at Hagge Park will have participants spreading out in the grass on their own blankets and chairs to hear a fun program from Bieret. More information can be found on the website or by contacting Bieret at sccbnat@gmail.com.
