The Carroll Police Department has released the name of a Carroll woman killed in a single-vehicle accident Thursday morning. Authorities say 58-year-old Lynne Patricia Humphrey was attempting to park her 2015 Chevy Equinox in the 1900 block of Lois Avenue and failed to completely shift the vehicle into park before exiting. Officers arrived at the scene at approximately 10:52 a.m. and found Humphrey unresponsive near the unattended vehicle. An initial investigation found Humphrey had gotten caught beneath the wheels of the moving SUV and run over. Carroll County Emergency Medical Services and the Carroll Fire Department assisted at the scene.
