Deplieth Goanar Jioklow, age 11 of Carroll, died Sunday, March 7, 2021 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Carroll.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Casket Bearers will be Goanar Jioklow, Chuol Buol, Jang Jioklow, Emmanuel Jioklow, Kak Kuoth, and Joseph Deng. Burial will be in the Carroll City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:30-12 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Those in attendance are required to wear a face covering and abide by current social distancing guidelines.

Born on July 2, 2009 in Storm Lake, Iowa, Deplieth was the son of Nyakhat Buol and Goanar Jioklow. He grew up in Carroll attending Fairview Elementary and Carroll Middle School. Deplieth was very good in school.
Deplieth was a fun and playful boy who enjoyed playing video games, playing sports, watching TV with his family, and he excelled in school. He was also insanely good at Fortnite and playing basketball. Deplieth was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents: Nyakhat Buol and Goanar Jioklow; his siblings: Jang Jioklow, Emmanuel Jioklow, Nyajal Jioklow, Nyanger Biel, Nyamat Biel, and Nyapay Biel; and various other relatives and friends.
Deplieth is preceded in death by family members, friends, and anybody who loved him.
