Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC) has announced they will be hosting a COVID vaccination clinic on Wednesday, March 31, from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. They have been allotted 250 doses of the Moderna vaccine for those 18 and over with health comorbidities and any other individuals who are eligible in phase 1A and all tiers of phase 1B. This includes, but is not limited, to those 65 and older, first responders, prekindergarten through 12th grade staff members, those in early childhood education, childcare workers and those deemed essential workers in the phase 1B guidelines. The vaccinations will be done on an appointment basis only. Those receiving the first dose next Wednesday will be scheduled to receive the second vaccination on Wednesday, April 28, also between 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. The vaccine itself is free of charge, but there will be an administration fee. Those with private insurance, Medicare or Medicaid will be asked to provide their card so charges can be billed to the insurer. Patients will not receive a bill. Spots are limited and registration is required, this can be done by following the link included below or by calling 712-655-2072. More information can also be found by following the link to MRHC’s Facebook page.
