Officers with the Carroll Police Department responded to two accidents over the weekend. The first was reported at approximately 12:13 p.m. Friday afternoon in the 2800 block of N. Grant Road. Thirty-seven-year-old Ingrid Jurrens Euceda of Carroll was southbound on Grant in a 2017 Jeep Compass. Fifteen-year-old Liliana Wiltse of Carroll was exiting the Carroll High School parking lot in a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee and pulled out in front of the Jurrens Euceda vehicle. No injuries were reported but both Jeeps sustained disabling damage. Wiltse was cited for failure to yield on a left turn. A second, similar accident was reported at approximately 10:22 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 30 and Quint Avenue. Sixty-two-year-old Kenneth Jensen of Glidden was eastbound on 30 in a 2015 Chevrolet Express van. Forty-one-year-old Rachel Jackson of Vail was westbound on 30 in a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban and made a left-hand turn in front of the Jensen vehicle. Again, no injuries were reported but there was disabling damage to both vehicles. Jackson was cited for failure to yield on a left turn.
