The Carroll County Wellness Coalition is not only putting out a call for participants in the upcoming Live Healthy Iowa 5K on May 1, they are seeking volunteers. They will need volunteers on hand that Saturday to help with taking on-site registrations, handing out medals and various other tasks during the event from about 7 a.m. until around 10 a.m. Everyone who signs up to help out will get a free t-shirt. Kids are welcome to help as well. Volunteers are asked to sign up by this coming Friday, April 2. This can be done by contacting Laura Schaefer at the email address included below. Also included here is a link for participants to get more information and to get pre-registered for the race.
