Stanley Bruce Hellickson, age 72, of Carroll, IA, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Regency Park in Carroll.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Pastor Ryan Roehrig of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Carroll officiating. Casket bearers will be Jim Lewis, Matt Hellickson, Mike Lewis, Brian Hellickson, and Don Myers.
Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll for one hour prior to the service.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at the Ellington Township Cemetery in Mallard.
Those in attendance at Stan’s service are asked to abide by Covid-19 guidelines and facemasks are required at the funeral home.

Stanley was born on December 6, 1948 in Ft. Dodge, IA, and he was the son of Glenn and Dorothy (Williams) Hellickson. He grew up on a farm near Havelock, IA, and graduated from Havelock-Plover High School in 1966. He attended Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg. Stan worked for Agri-Bolt in Carroll for many years. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mallard. Stan was an avid NASCAR fan and also enjoyed modified stock car and sprint car racing. He enjoyed fishing, taking trips to the casino, and spending time with his friends.
Stan is survived by two brothers Leslie Hellickson (Donita) of Curlew, IA and Paul Hellickson of Plover, IA; a sister Peggy Lewis (David) of Cylinder, IA; and twenty nieces and nephews.
Stan was preceded in death by his brother Bob Hellickson; and his parents Glenn and Dorothy Hellickson.
