The Carroll Fire Department responded to a relatively small grass fire south of town on Sunday afternoon. Chief Greg Schreck says they were called to the 23000 block of 215th Street at approximately 4:36 p.m. No property damage occurred from the fire that involved a portion of an acreage grove and a field terrace. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
