The Carroll Community School District Board of Education has scheduled their second special meeting of the week for this Thursday. The meeting will be called to order at noon in the Adams Elementary School board conference room. The first item on the agenda is the public hearing for the 2021/22 certified budget. This will be followed by a closed session to conduct another interview for the Director of Business Affairs position in accordance with Iowa Code 21.5.1.i, “To evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance or discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual’s reputation and that individual requests a closed session. This session will also be closed to comply with the confidentiality of personnel records.” The board anticipates returning to an open meeting at approximately 1:20 p.m. to discuss personnel.
