Kuemper started the season with a hard fought win on the road Tuesday clinching it with a doubles win for Sam Janssen and Jared Hansman. They cruised to a 10-2 win giving Kuemper their 5th win of the night and a 5-4 advantage. Kuemper was sharp in singles winning 4 of the 6 matches with tight wins of Luke Hicks 11-9 and Gus Collison 10-8 and easier wins for Carter Soppe 10-4 and Blake Pottebaum 10-2. That 4-2 lead disappeared as Atlantic used their top 4 players to win the first two doubles matches. Both the doubles losses could have swung either way.
