Greene County At Carroll
Greene County 3
Carroll 0
The match was moved to Carroll on Thursday afternoon due to weather and field conditions in Grand Junction. The Rams were affected by the location change and came out firing getting a couple goals early on breakaways. They scored at the 36.52 mark and 22:02 mark of the 1st half. Carroll Head Coach Gary Magill says the Tigers missed an assignment on both and allowed the Rams a one on one with the goalie and Greene County made them pay. The defense settled down after that and Carroll trailed 2-0 at half.

The Tigers offense had changes with 13 shots on goal but couldn’t squeeze one into the net. The Rams stayed aggressive and after a near miss in the 2nd half when Carroll goal Treyton Goins made a nifty save running full speed back to the net and diving to knock the ball away inches before it crossed the line. Greene County tacked on their final goal with 5:33 left in the match.
The loss drops the Tigers to 1-2 on the season as they prepare to host Ballard next Thursday.
