Carroll Girls Track With Strong Showing at Nevada Thursday

Carroll had another strong showing taking 4^th in a strong field with 108 points. Roland Story won the meet with 129 points followed by Nevada 116 and North Polk 112.50. The Tigers won a pair of individual events and a relay while taking 2^nd in three individual events and one relay.

Shay Sinnard brought home a 1^st place finish in the 100 Meters with a 13.55 and took 2^nd in the Long Jump with her best attempt at 15-05.50. Sinnard was also part of the winning 4×100 team with Libby Perkins, Hannah Jorgensen and Kennedy Thein. They ran a 53.70. Sinnard, Perkins and Jorgensen were joined by Brenna Goins in the 4×200 and took 2^nd place in 1:54.02. Hannah Jorgensen continues to dominate the 200 Meters and won with a time of 27.84. Marie Dea finished 2^nd in the 1500 Meters in 5:47.12 while Julia Kanne was 2^nd in the 300 Meters in 13:06.15.

The Tigers took 3^rd in three events including the 4×800 with Sienna Leymaster, Camryn Schable, Mackenzie Johnson and Zoey Kelly. Heather Kennebeck grabbed 3^rd in the Discus and Madison Tunning finished 3^rd in the 100 Hurdles.
