Both teams opened their season on a cloudy day that mixed in some wind and light rain or sprinkles on occasion. The Raiders picked up the win on their home course in Sac City with three of the top 4 scores under 41. The Titans responded with a 39 and 43 but their last two scores were in the low to mid 50’s. East Sac shot a 164 while the Titans finished with a 186.
Justin Hanks of South Central Calhoun finished the day as the Medalist with a 39. Runner-Up Medalist honors went to Jackson Stoltenberg of East Sac after also shot a 39. Right behind Stoltenberg was Joel Halbur with a 40 and Dylan Meredith with a 41 for East Sac. Corey Hicks kept the Titans with a shot finishing with a 43.
