Boys Track Results April 9th, 2021
Kuemper and Carroll at Missouri Valley
The Kuemper Knights and Carroll Tigers both performed well at the Missouri Valley track meet on Friday. The Tigers finished in third place as a team with 98.50 points, behind Underwood with 124.50 points and meet champions Treynor with 155.50 points. The Knights finished in sixth place as a team with 55 points, behind CAM with 83.50 points and LoMa with 59.50 points.
The Tigers walked away from this meet with three second place finishes and two first place finishes in their events. Tory Feldman finished in first place in the long jump with a jump of 22-02.75. Feldman was also part of the shuttle hurdle team, along with Colby Christensen, Haven Muggenberg, and Remy Richardson, that finished in first place with a time of 1:09.23 and the 4X400 relay team, along with Abraham Dirkx, Zach Dirkx, and Christensen, that finished in second place with a time of 3:35.17. Richardson, Zach and Abraham Dirkx, and Slade Sibenaller were part of the Sprint Medley team that finished in second place with a time of 3:50.97. Ryan North ran well in the 3200 meter run, finishing in second place with a time of 11:17.49.
The Kuemper Knights finished this meet with three first place finishes. Jacob Greving ran well in the distance races, finishing in second place in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:10.69 and first in the 3200 meter run with a time of 11:14.19. The Knights had one relay team finish in first place, that being the 4X100 meter weight man relay, consisting of Evan Adams, Mason Rohe, Connor Hays, and Chris Mohr, with a time of 52.52.
The Kuemper boys track team is in action next on Monday, April 12 when they travel to Southeast Valley. The Carroll Tigers will be hosting and participating in the Carroll Co-Ed track meet on Monday, April 12.

IKM-Manning at Denison-Schleswig
The IKM-Manning Wolves traveled to the Denison-Schleswig Co-Ed track meet on Friday and finished in the top two in multiple events. As a team, the Wolves finished in third place with 109 points, behind meet champions Harlan with 143 points and Woodbine with 116 points.
Quentin Dreyer ran well in his long distance events, finishing in first place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:07.49 and 3200 meter run with a time of 10:33.19. He also finished second in the 1600 meter run with a time of 4:50.25. Liam Carter managed to grab a first place finish in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 59.25 and the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.87. The Wolves saw their 4X400 team, consisting of Conner Keller, Hunter Smith, Akim Duot, and James Vega, finish in second place with a time of 3:46.84.
The Wolves are in action next at the Carroll Co-Ed track meet on Monday, April 12th.
