IKM-Manning, Audubon and South Central Calhoun At Carroll

The Carroll Tigers picked up a nice win in a tight race edging past IKM-Manning and Greene County. The Tigers scored 128 points, IKM-Manning 122, Greene County 119.50 and Audubon 4^th with 71 points. South Central is still missing a few runners finished in 6^th with 52 miles. Carroll finished with seven first place finishes, IKM-Manning took first in five events, Audubon had two first places and South Central Calhoun had two.

Zach Dirkx of Carroll finished the 200 Meters in style finishing 1^st in 23.68, he also won the 100 Meters 11.67. Ryan Johnston of Carroll controlled the field events taking first in the Shot Put at 40-01.25 and the Discus 130-09. Gavin Smith of Audubon won the 110 Hurdles in 15.74 and finished first in the 400 Hurdles with 57.64. Quentin Dreyer of IKM-Manning was also a two time champion winning the 1600 Meters in 4:53.31 and the 3200 Meters in 10:43.43. Ben Englin of South Central Calhoun ran in his first race of the season and won the 400 Meters in his return with a 56.90. Lane Sams of IKM-Manning won the 800 Meters in 2:18.53 as he continues a strong season. Cole Corey of South Central Calhoun won the High Jump at 6-0 and took 2^nd in the Long Jump with a 21-02.25 and the 110 Hurdles in 16.50. Carroll Tiger Tory Feldman was the Long Jump champion with a best jump of 21-10.00. Evan Jacobs of South Central Calhoun took 2^nd in the 800 Meters in 2:19.39, Amos Rasmussen of IKM-Manning was 2^nd in the 100 Meters in 11.98 and Colby Christensen of Carroll was 2^nd in the 200 Meters in 24.32.

Carroll won the 4×200 with Remy Richardson, Colby Christensen, Tory Feldman and Zach Dikrx. They ran a 1:34.75. The Tigers won the 4×400 in 3:38.84 with Colby Christensen, Tory Feldman, Abraham Dirkx and Zach Dirkx. Audubon was 2^nd in the 4×400 in 3:45.06 with Joel Klocke, Matthew Beisswenger, Ethan Klocke and Gavin Smith. IKM-Manning earned first place in the 4×800 with a 9:27.81 with Hunter Smith, Connor Keller, Akin Duot and Lane Sams, Audubon went second in the 4×800 in 9:54.05 with Jackson Deist, Zeke Konkler, Braden Wessel and Rylan Hansen. The Wheelers were 2^nd in the Shuttle Hurdle in 1:04.72 with Joel Klocke, Ethan Klocke, Brandon Jensen and Gavin Smith. Carroll claimed second in the Sprint Medley with Cade Schable, Caden Kock, Slade Sibenaller and Abraham Dirkx in 1:43.18. IKM-Manning was the champion in the Distance Medley winning in 3:59.65 with Drew Doyel, Amos Rasmussen, Hunter Smith and Quentin Dreyer. Carroll went 2^nd in the Distance Medley with Jack Troutman, Cade Schable, Austin Tigges and Abraham Dirkx. They ran a 4:04.28.

Paton Churdan and Kuemper At SE Valley Invite

Kuemper and Paton Churdan competed in the different classes at the meet in Gowrie on Monday with the Knights taking 8^th place with 32 points in Class A. Webster City won the team title with 126.50 and Madrid was 2^nd with 123 points. Paton Churdan also finished 8^th in the Class B with 23 points. West Bend Mallard was the champion with 151 points and Gilbert finished 2^nd with 95 points.

The Knights won the Distance Medley in 3:52.73 with Max Meyers, Tanner Higby, Garrett Christensen and Michael Pottebaum. The Rockets had a 2^nd place with Bradyn Smith in the Discus at 107-03 and a 3^rd place with Forest Thompson in the 400 Meters. He ran a 1:04.50.
