IKM-Manning, South Central Calhoun and Paton Churdan At East Sac Raider Relays

IKM-Manning and East Sac battled for 2^nd place on a cloudy and chilly night in Sac City. Most of the runners felt the weather was good for running and only the curve coming out of the finish line was tough in the wind. The Wolves finished with two 1^st places and five 2^nd place finishes to edge East Sac 117 points to 92 points. The Raiders finished 3^rd overall but still had a good night with three 1^st place finishes and two 2^nd place finishes. South Central Calhoun finished 6^th overall with 47 points and Paton Churdan was 7^th with 9 points.

Tyler Schmitt of East Sac won the 400 Meters in 53.22. CH Frank of East Sac was the champion in the Long Jump at 19-07.00. Justin Rupnow won the Shot Put for the Raiders three top finishes at 48-00. The Raiders were 2^nd in the Shuttle Hurdle in 1:09.94 with Alex Hauser, CJ Frank, Cole Babe and Ace Thelen. Hauser and Thelen teamed up with Cale Niehaus and Tyler Schmitt for 2^nd in the 4×100 in 47.19.

Quentin Dreyer continues his strong start to the season winning the 3200 Meters in 10:41.96 and taking 2^nd in the 1600 Meters in 4:52.95. The Wolves claimed another title in the 4×800 with Hunter Smith, Lane Sams, Connor Keller and Quentin Dreyer with a 9:00.73. Amos Rasmussen was 2^nd in the 100 Meters in 11.52 for IKM-Manning while teammates Hunter Smith went 2^nd in the 800 Meters in 2:10.52 and Reed Hinners was 2^nd in the 3200 Meters in 11:24.26. Connor Keller was 2^nd in the 400 Meters for the Wolves in 55.92.

Cole Corey was one of the leaders for South Central Calhoun with a 2^nd place in the 200 Meters in 24.63. Keegan Soard was 2^nd in the High Jump at 5-08. The Titans were also 2^nd in the Sprint Medley with Brock Nattress, Evan Jacobs, Cole Corey and Ben Englin in 1:42.64.

Bradyn Smith of Paton Churdan had a nice showing in the Discus taking 2^nd with a 116-01.

Audubon At Underwood

Audubon had a very nice showing at a deep and big field on Friday night closing out another good week for the team. They finished 4^th out of 14 teams with 54 points. Woodbine claimed the title with 110 points defeating the host Eagles of Underwood with 100 points and CAM Anita was 3^rd with 77 points. Audubon ended the night with a pair of champions, two 2^nd place finishes and a pair of 3^rd places.

Gavin Smith and Brandon Jensen helped the Wheelers control the hurdle races with Smith winning the 110’s in 16.16 and Jensen taking the 400 Hurdles in 59.70. Those two teamed with Joel and Ethan Klocke to take 2^nd in the Shuttle Hurdle in 1:05.38. Matthew Beisswenger had another good night in the sprints finishing 2^nd in the 100 Meters in 12.14 and 3^rd in the 200 Meters in 24.05. the 4×400 team of Joel Klocke, Matthew Beisswenger, Ethan Klocke and Gavin Smith finished 3^rd in 3:42.12.

Coon Rapids Bayard At Colo-Nesco At Nevada

Coon Rapids Bayard had a very strong showing finishing in a tie for 5^th place with BMG Brooklyn. They did that even with having just two relay races and limited numbers in the individual events. The Crusaders finished 1^st and 2^nd in their two relay races along with taking 1^st in three individual events and 2^nd in two others. Collins Maxwell won the meet with 148 points followed by Lynnville Suller with 143 and Baxter with 95.

Gabe Obert put together a strong night winning the High Jump at 5-08, going 2^nd in the 100 Meters in 11.80 and 2^nd in the Long Jump at 19-03.25. Easton Hays won the Long Jump at 19-06.25 as Coon Rapids Bayard went 1-2. Omarion Floyd was 3^rd in the 200 Meters in 24.40. The Crusaders won the 4×100 with Easton Hays, Omarion Floyd, Tanner Oswald and Gabe Obert in 46.20. Hays, Oswald and Floyd teamed up with Lance Clayburg for 2^nd in the 4×200 in 1:39.70.
