Only minor injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident Thursday evening southwest of Churdan. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the scene of the accident on F Avenue near the intersection of 170th Street at approximately 6:49 p.m. Their initial investigation found a 17-year-old female was traveling along F Avenue in a 2009 Honda Fit and lost control of the vehicle. The car rolled twice and came to rest in the ditch. The driver as well as a 13-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries and were transported to the Greene County Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment. Damage to the Honda is estimated at $10,000.
