Girls Track Results for April 16th, 2021

 

Paton Churdan, IKM-Manning, and South Central Calhoun at East Sac

 

Paton Churdan, IKM-Manning, South Central Calhoun, and East Sac competed on Friday at the East Sac County Relays. East Sac finished in second place in the team standings with 112 points, behind meet winners Ridge View with 171 points. IKM-Manning finished in fourth place with 87 points, followed by South Central Calhoun in fifth place with 86 points, and Paton Churdan in sixth place with 31 points. Every team was able to finish the meet with at least one first place finish.

 

Brooke Jergens gave East Sac a first place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.35. Jergens was also part of the 4X100 team, along with Kenna Meyer, Jen Aschinger, and Hannah Pudenz,that finished in first place with a time of 54.61. Aschinger finished in second place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:07.94. She was also part of the 4X400 team, along with Mary Bontrager, Meyer, and Felicia Hagner, that finished in second place with a time of 4:41.78. Pudenz individually got second place in the long jump with a jump of 14-06.50. Emma Schroeder got the last top two placement for the Raiders, finishing in second place in the 3000 meter run with a time of 12:17.10. 

 

Alexa Ahrenholtz of IKM-Manning finished in first place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.25. Ahrenholtz was also part of the Sprint Medley and Distance Medley team, along with Maddie Snyder, Amber Halbur, and Bianca Cadwell, that won with a time of 2:01.90 and got second place with a time of 4:54.33, respectively. Cadwell individually finished in second place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:42.48.

 

Jade Ridgely of South Central Calhoun won the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:06.92. Ridgely finished the day with two other top two finishes, placing second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.85, and second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.57. Laura Greene gave the Titans a first place finish in the long jump with a winning jump of 14-10.00.

 

Danielle Hoyle of Paton Churdan excelled in the throwing events, winning the shot put event with a throw of 38-08.00 and discus with a throw of 106-00. Carmyn Paup finished the long jump event in fourth place with a jump of 13-02.50.

Coon Rapids Bayard at Dave Robinson Relays at Nevada

 

The Coon Rapids Bayard Crusaders competed on Friday at the 2021 Dave Robinson Relays at Nevada. The Crusaders finished the day in eighth place with 16 team points. Coon Rapids Bayard was tested at this meet and walked away with four top five finishes. 

Miranda Garcia threw in the shot put event and finished in fifth place with a throw of 28-04.00. Garcia was also in the 4X200 relay, along with Madison Mohr, Kadey Olson, and Cassidy Baker, which finished in third place with a time of 2:10.50. The 4X100 team, consisting of Garcia, Olson, Baker, and Bridget Shirbroun, finished in fifth place with a time of 59.80. The Sprint Medley team, consisting of the same runners from the 4X100 team, also finished in fifth place with a time of 2:17.00.
