Kuemper settled in the 2nd half and played better battling right with St Albert after falling behind 4-0 at half. The Knights got more aggressive on offense and defense and started beating St Albert to the ball. They adjusted well to the middle penetration that St Albert had success with in the 1st half.
Cate Mayhall and Karly Baumhover scored goals in the 2nd half on assists by Kiley Trecker. Mayhall led the team with 5 shots on goal, Baumhover had 4 shots, Kenya Prescott added 2 shots and Trecker had 1 shot on goal. Ashlyn Badding had a busy night in goal with 15 saves and Lauren Boell added a save.
