Carroll slipped to 1-4 overall and 0-3 in the Raccoon River Conference with the road loss. The Wildcats improved to 2-5 overall but 2-1 in the Raccoon River Conference.
The Wildcats built a 3-0 lead by half and were able to keep pressure on the Tigers defense. Treyton Goins finished with 8 saves and Nolan Mohr added 7 saves in goal for Carroll. The Tigers offense battled with 10 shots on goal and 4 of those by Darian Cortez. Jireh Gallegos was able to break through in the 2nd half to score the Tigers only goal.
