No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision Friday afternoon in Carroll. The Carroll Police Department was dispatched to the scene of the accident at the intersection of 8th and West Streets at approximately 12:44 p.m. According to their initial investigation, a 2003 Ford Explorer, driven by 44-year-old Edwin Heisterkamp of Carroll, was traveling northbound on West Street. At the same time, a 2006 Ford Taurus, driven by 90-year-old Marvin Lampe of Carroll, was traveling westbound on 8th and failed to yield from the stop sign at the intersection. Both vehicles sustained functional damage. Lampe was cited for failure to obey a stop sign and driving on a suspended license.
