No injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 30 in Carroll Wednesday afternoon. The Carroll Police Department was dispatched to the scene at the Radiant Road intersection on the west side of Carroll at approximately 12:35 p.m. Authorities say a 2018 Dodge Ram pickup, driven by 29-year-old Cory Onken of Carroll, was travelling westbound on 30 in the outside lane. At the same time, a 2018 Volvo semi-tractor trailer, driven by 62-year-old Richard Hendriz of Philpot, Ky., was also westbound in the inside lane and attempted to turn right into a parking lot. The semi collided with the driver’s side of the Onken truck, resulting in functional damage to both vehicles.
