Big win for Carroll at the Muni on Monday afternoon at the Tigers held off ADM. Ty Nissen set the tempo with a great round with 3 birdies including back to back on holes 5 and 6. He also birdied the 1st hole. Nissen won Medalist honors, adding four par’s including holes 7-9. Drew Munson and Will Ragaller each shot 38. Ragaller was a big score shooting out of the 5th spot on the day as he picked up five pars and a birdie. Munson finished with a birdie and five pars. Bryce Berlau was the 4th and final score for Carroll and he shot a 41. Grant Garton of ADM was Runner-Up Medalist with a 37.

Coon Rapids Bayard and Glidden Ralston finished 5th and 6th at the conference meet in Woodbine on Monday. The Crusaders had two scores in the upper 40’s and a pair in the low 50’s as their top 4 guys were within 5 strokes of each other. Glidden Ralston received a 48 from Kyle Olberding and then had three other scores in the low to mid 50’s. Their top 4 scores were only separated by 8 strokes. Boyer Valley won the team title with a 174 and were 9 strokes ahead of Woodbine and 17 in front of 3rd place CAM Anita.
Jeffrey Kracht of Woodbine had the lowest scorer from the local kids shooting a 47. Olberding from Glidden Ralston was just behind him with a 48. Jacob Estrada of Coon Rapids Bayard finished with a 49. Coon Rapids Bayard also got a 51 from Trey Rosenbeck and a 52 from Kolby Culbertson. Caden Smith of Glidden Ralston added a 51 followed on the Wildcats by Caden Wenck with a 54 and John Whitver with a 56.

IKM-Manning continued their winning ways and had their 3rd player earn medalist honors this season. Audubon had five of six golfers in the 40’s but their lowest score was 44 while the Wolves had three scores under that and a fourth score of 44.
Max Nielsen of IKM-Manning earned Medalist honors with a 40 and teammate Tyler Brandt finished as Runner-Up Medalist with a 42. Grant Gear of IKM-Manning also had a strong showing with a 42 and Conner Richards finished with a 44 for the Wolves.
Audubon was paced by Edward Miller with a 44 followed closely by Jay Remsburg, Joey Schramm and Aiden Alt who all shot 45.

South Central Calhoun picked up a nice win with their top four guys shooting 43 or better and Corey Hicks taking Medalist honors again. The Titans edged past Pocahontas who had two players in the upper 30’s and three in the mid 40’s.
The Titans Hicks won medalist honors with a 38 and was one stroke better than Caleb Freeburg of Pocahontas Area who was Runner-Up Medalist winning the honor over his teammate Cavin Henrickson who also shot a 39. The Titans got 40’s from Justin Hanks and Bryan Steig while Brennan Holder finished with a 43. Hicks won thanks in part to his birdie on hole 1. He added 5 pars and 2 bogeys. Hanks finished with 5 pars on holes 5-9 and Steig added 2 birdies and 3 pars. Holder finished with 3 pars.

The Raiders cruised to a 47 stroke win on the road Monday and had all four of their golfers finish in the 40’s, claiming Medalist and Runner-Up Medalist honors. They had their most balanced day of the season.
Jackson Stoltenberg led the way with a 43 which was good enough to earn medalist honors by a stroke over teammate Dylan Meredith who was runner-up medalist with a 44. Caleb Villhauer and Bradyn Burns each shot 47’s for the Raiders.
