Eight Area Girls Golf Teams in Action Monday; Full Girls Golf Recap

Girls Golf Results for April 26th, 2021

 

Carroll and Bondurant Farrar at ADM

 

The Carroll Tigers were victorious Monday as they competed against Bondurant Farrar and ADM. Carroll ended their day with a team score of 200, followed by ADM with 215, and finally Bondurant Farrar with 285. Carroll’s top four golfers ended their days with scores in the 40s and 50s.

 

Grace Pettit ended her day on the course with a score of 45, earning herself medalist honors. Her teammate, Laura Sweeney, also did well, finishing the day with a 46 and earned runner-up medalist honors. Ashlee Danner added to Carroll’s score finishing the day with a score of 56. Abby Danner rounded out the scoring for the Tigers, ending her day with a score of 58.

Harlan at Kuemper

 

The Kuemper Knights took on the Harlan Cyclones Monday and ended the day with one of their golfers receiving runner-up medalist honors. Kuemper ended the day as a team with a score of 233. Harlan was the meet winner with a team score of 217. 

 

Abby Nees ended her day with a score of 49 and earned runner-up medalist honors. Timber Svendsen of Harlan received medalist honors with a score of 47. Kenna Soppe completed the course with a final score of 57. Kara Daniel’s day of golfing ended with a score of 62. Grace Tigges rounded out the scoring for the Knights, finishing her day with a score of 65.

Audubon at IKM-Manning

 

IKM-Manning and Audubon competed on Monday in their dual meet, where the Wolves ended the day on top. IKM-Manning ended their day with a team score of 215 and had one of their golfers earn medalist honors. Audubon ended their day with a final team score of 223 and one of their golfers earned runner-up medalist honors.

 

Kylie Powers of IKM-Manning completed a good day of golf with a score of 42 and earned medalist honors. Bre Muhlbauer was a few strokes ahead of Powers, ending her day with a 49. Maeve Nielsen talked with Carroll Broadcasting after the meet and said she was content with her 53, which was a bit better than her season averages so far. Eryn Ramsey rounded out the scoring for the Wolves, ending her day with a 71. 

 

Sydney Beymer for the Audubon Wheelers ended her day with a 47, which earned herself runner-up medalist honors. Allison Elmquist and Madison Vorm ended their days with a 58. Rounding out the scoring for the Wheelers was Kali Irlmeier who ended her day with a 60.

Coon Rapids Bayard and Glidden Ralston at Atlantic

 

Coon Rapids Bayard and Glidden Ralston were in action Monday as they participated in a Rolling Valley Conference meet at Atlantic. Coon Rapids Bayard won the meet with a final team score of 208. Glidden-Ralston finished in fourth place with a final score of 248. Both teams ended the day with a golfer earning medalist honors.

 

Emma Hart of Coon Rapids Bayard finished her day with a final score of 47 and received runner-up medalist honors. Alaya Betts was a few strokes off from Hart, ending her day with a score of 51. Macy Winnet contributed well to the Crusaders’ score, ending her day with a 54. Wrapping up the scoring for the Crusaders, Morgan Hart ended her day with a score of 56. 

 

Kim Daily of Glidden Ralston finished a great day of golfing with a final score of 45 and earned medalist honors. Paige Klocke finished her day on the course with a score of 58. Macy Snyder ended her day with a score of 72. Elizabeth Lloyd rounded out the scoring for the Wildcats, ending the day with a score of 73.

East Sac at SE Valley

 

East Sac golf traveled to Southeast Valley Monday and continued to grow and improve. East Sac finished the meet with a final team score of 251, behind Southeast Valley’s score of 229. 

 

Lauren Litterer led her team on the course, finishing with a score of 57. Sidney Bieret finished one stroke ahead of Litterer with a score of 58. Jamie Pierce contributed to her team’s score, ending the day with a score of 66. Cianna Johnson wrapped up the scoring for the Raiders, ending her day with a score of 70. Chyann Hicks of Southeast Valley earned medalist honors with a score of 53 while Shaylin Carlson of Southeast Valley received runner-up medalist honors with a score of 55.

South Central Calhoun at Pocahontas Area

 

South Central Calhoun’s girls golf team was on the road Monday to take on Pocahontas Area. The Titans ended their day with a combined team score of 260, behind Pocahontas Area’s score of 207. All of South Central Calhoun’s top golfers ended their days with scores in the 60s. 

 

Emma Anderson completed the course with a final score of 61, tied for fifth among all golfers that day. Sayer Steig was two strokes ahead of Anderson, ending her day with a 63. Mia Babcock and Sally Musselman rounded out the scoring for the Titans, both ending their days with a 68. Josee Slama of Pocahontas Area earned medalist honors with a final score of 48. Carly Janssen of Pocahontas Area received runner-up medalist honors with a score of 50.
