The Kuemper Knights had a successful day Monday as they defeated St. Edmond. The Knights won all their doubles matches, and all but one of their singles matches en route to their team victory.
Samantha Tidgren and Jordan Schwabe were a perfect 8-0 in their singles matches. They would team up in doubles where they won their match 8-4. Alyssa Brant dropped one game, but ended the match winning 8-1. Her doubles teammate, Vanessa Breedlove, ended her singles match winning 8-3. Brant and Breedlove performed well in their doubles match, winning 8-2. Sophia Rohe also won her singles match, dropping two games, but winning overall 8-2. Rohe teamed up with Heidi Kraus in doubles where they performed the best out of the Knights’s doubles teams, winning 8-1.
The Knights are in action next when they travel to Lewis Central on Tuesday, April 27th.
